Our transmitters come with a lifetime guarantee against surges and lightning damage.

The T-4 Transmitter is capable of covering yards up to 50 acres. It features user-friendly lights and audible sounds to let you know that the transmitter is working properly and when there is a problem with the signal field.

When the T-4 transmitter is set in the encoded mode, an ID code makes the system immune to all interference from stray signals and provides “DUAL ZONES,” in the signal field. The dual zone establishes two signal fields. In the first signal field, the pet receives a warning level stimulus that has been preset on the front of the T-4 transmitter. Its purpose is to warn the pet to turn back. Should the pet enter the second signal field, the receiver will automatically increase to a stronger stimulus.

In addition, our transmitters produce the widest signal field on the market, making it more difficult for your dog to escape. This feature, combined with our expert training, is what gives us such a high success rate in containing all types of dogs.

The DG 9-XT Receiver is designed to contain medium to large-sized and tough-to-train dogs.

The DG 5000 Receiver is designed to contain small to medium-sized dogs. It is also recommended to use on larger, more timid pets.

The Micro Receiver is designed to contain small dogs, weighing less than 2 ounces. It is also recommended to use on timid pets.

Dog Guard receivers are the most versatile on the market. We have the lowest correction level (as well as the highest) and 32 levels in between. The receiver has a fail safe feature which will shutdown the unit after 30 seconds of activation. It will only reactivate when it has been removed from the signal field for at least ten seconds.

Our brass nickel-plated contact posts will not wear out or rust and are rounded so they will not cause irritation to your pet's neck. They are made with the same material used in the windows of the space shuttle and are 100% waterproof. Our receivers come with a lifetime warranty.

An ID code is designated for the DG-9000 and DG-5000 receivers. These receivers activate in relation to the transmitter only when their code is recognized, leaving them immune to almost all outside interference.

Is your dog or cat getting into rooms and on furniture where you don't want them? Are you still using gates to keep them out of certain rooms? Your solution is the Dog Guard Room Transmitter. The Room Transmitter is a small wall-mounted device that emits a 360-degree signal and works with any of our receivers. Keep your pets from getting into trash cans, onto couches, up stairs, and/or out of certain rooms entirely!

There are three main components to a Dog Guard system: the wire (buried in your yard as the perimeter), the receiver (which your dog wears around its neck) and the transmitter (mounted in your garage). In addition, a surge protector may be purchased to save your system from lightning hits.

We use 14-gauge stranded wire. There is no electrical current that runs through our wire; only a radio signal. Most of the wire is buried underground, except in the case of ivy-covered ground, where we weave in the wire. For driveways, we use an existing expansion joint as the path and caulk to keep it in place.

To reduce the risk of system failure due to a power surge (so that your pet will continue to be contained), we recommend using our surge protector product. Featuring "protect or disconnect" circuitry, our surge protectors  ensure your system’s safety in the event of an unusual power surge, such as a massive or direct lightning strike. Should such a surge occur, it will disconnect the transmitter. Our surge protectors come with a lifetime warranty.
